CCQ (the PHN) is seeking expressions of interest from general practitioners to join an existing GP-led, multidisciplinary Clinical Council in Wide Bay.
The PHN is seeking GP members who can act in a strategic advisory capacity to the CEO and Board of the PHN.
The aim is to improve the operations of the health system, for patients residing within the PHN region, by facilitating the provision of effective primary health care; with the intention of reducing potentially preventable hospitalisations and improving overall health outcomes.
Clinical Councils work in partnership with Hospital and Health Services in their local communities.
The proposed membership will commence in October 2019.
Applications close at 17:00 Sunday 18th August 2019.
