Event Details

The Joint Conference 2022 committee is pleased to announce that this year’s conference will be held as a face-to-face event at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, QLD

HIV&AIDS Conference: Monday 29 August to Wednesday 31 August

Sexual Health Conference: Tuesday 30 August to Thursday 1 September

For 30 years the Joint Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference, the leading HIV conference in Australasia, has brought together delegates from Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Pacific.

Importantly, the conference reaches beyond Australasia, with keynotes and invited speakers from around the world. This makes for an event with global and local relevance, giving delegates a global platform with access to state-of-the-art research and evidence. ASHM coordinates the conference to disseminate new and innovative research findings among delegates from a range of backgrounds. The Australasian Sexual Health Conference, which runs in conjunction with the HIV&AIDS Conference, is delivered in collaboration with The Australasian Sexual and Reproductive Health Alliance (ASRHA). Through the conference, ASHM and ASRHA seek to bring together a wealth of knowledge and diverse local and global perspectives — from science, clinical medicine and allied health to community-led programs, indigenous health, policy, and social research.

This year’s conference is returning to a face-to-face format, and we are looking forward to the sector coming together in late August.
