Join the walk to save people from kidney disease

In Central Queensland, Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay by PHN Communications

Across Australia, thousands of people will walk during September 2018 to show their support for kidney patients, families of people with kidney disease, and people at risk of developing kidney disease.

Over 1.7 million people are living with kidney disease across Australia right now. Kidney Health Australia exists to help improve and extend as many lives affected by this terrible disease as possible, and your participation means we can continue being a lifeline for all Australians affected by kidney disease.

The Big Red Kidney Walk promises a guaranteed day of fun, laughter and electric atmosphere. Everyone wears red for the walk, there’s live music and entertainment, face painting for the kids and prizes for best dressed, both people and pooches!

Every dollar raised ensures Kidney Health Australia can continue to provide Kidney Transplant Houses for those recovering from kidney transplant surgery, mobile dialysis services so people with kidney disease can enjoy a holiday every once in a while, and Kidney Kids Camps so that children affected by kidney disease can spend time just being a kid again.
