Hepatitis Queensland has launched a new two part webinar series looking at hepatitis C epidemiology, transmission, testing and treatment.
The webinars are targeted towards non-clinical alcohol and other drugs workers, social workers and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers among others.
The first webinar in the series outlines hepatitis C epidemiology, transmission, testing, priority populations and new treatments. The webinar also highlights key messages around HIV and other sexual transmissible infections.
The second webinar showcases the Kombi Clinic, a mobile, hepatitis C outreach service delivered in the Brisbane South area. The Kombi Team is a passionate group of individuals; Dr Matt Young, Dr Joss O’Loan, Christy Hoger, Mim O’Flynn and Sam White who are taking the hepatitis C cure to the people.
