Black Dog Institute has released a new version of a free online self-help program for people with mild to moderate depression, anxiety and stress.

myCompass offers individuals fourteen interactive learning Activities and a lifestyle Tracking feature. This helps users better understand themselves and learn strategies to improve their mental health.

The learning Activities deliver proven psychological techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Problem-solving Therapy and Positive Psychology.

Randomised control trials have demonstrated significant improvement in symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress and in work and social functioning with improvements persisting for three months.

As a health provider, you can refer a patient to complete the myCompass program. If you have any queries, please contact the myCompass team at eMH@blackdog.org.au.
